This series consists of files relating to the planning and conduct of the ninety fourth and ninety fifth Convocations of the University of the State of New York. 3B0442-01 (con): A substantial portion of this accretion pertains to events commemorating the two hundredth anniversary of the Board of Regents in 1984. In addition to the May 23-24 bicentennial convocation, files document a series of bicentennial events that took place in Rochester, Buffalo, Binghamton, Syracuse, Albany, Brooklyn, White Plains, and at United Nations headquarters, City College of the City University of New York, and the St. Regis Mohawk Reservation in Hogansburg. An additional file documents the arrangements and proceedings marking the opening of the New York State Museum in 1976.

Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill was born at Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, on 30 November 1874.
